Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon

As mentioned earlier we stayed at the Sedona Summit which is a complex of self catering accommodation, ( condominium).

It was  very spacious and the views excellent. We had an interesting trip through Oak Creek Canyon, very scenic with many hairpin bends and splendid views. Also as already posted by Rich visited Slide State Park.

Shoot out at the OK Corral

Tombstone Sunday 4th. Met some mean looking cowboys, Doc Holiday, Wyatt, Morgan and Virgil Earp, Billy Clanton, Tom and Frank McLaury.

This all happened in 1881 – we saw the shoot out at the site of the original OK Corral.

After spending the day at Tombstone eating in Saloons and getting dressed up as cowboys  and saloon girls – we headed to Boothill Cemetery on the way home.

Boot Hill Cemetery is where Billy Clanton, Tom and Frank McLaury are buried.
